Quality control and EU compliance for pet products
Since December 2024 the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) applies to every consumer product sold in the EU — pet products included. Marketplaces now delist products without an EU responsible person and safety information.
We make sure what you buy can be sold: we check factories and goods, prepare documents and labels, and act as the EU importer.

Pet toys are not children’s toys: EN 71 does not apply to them, but they must be safe under the GPSR.

Frequently asked questions
Do pet toys need EN 71?
No. EN 71 is the standard for children’s toys. Pet toys fall under the GPSR, which requires them to be safe, traceable and labelled with safety information. Some buyers still request EN 71-based tests as a benchmark; we can arrange them.
Who is the EU responsible person?
When you buy from us, EnjoyGroup Sp. z o.o. in Poland is the importer and the EU address on the label. If you import yourself, you have to appoint a responsible person in the EU.
Which inspection standard do you use?
Pre-shipment inspections follow AQL sampling (ISO 2859-1), usually level II with limits agreed per product.
Can you order lab tests?
Yes, from accredited labs such as SGS, Intertek, TÜV or Bureau Veritas, in China or the EU. The cost depends on the product and tests.
What about marketplaces like Amazon and Allegro?
Both require GPSR data: manufacturer, EU responsible person, product images of labels and safety information. We provide everything you need for listings.
